1.How are scars formed?
  Scar is the result of the skin tissue injury caused by various factors including trauma. Fibroblast and capillary network hyperplasia increase to form new granulation tissue, which stop the      splitting of fibrous cells. Then there is imbalance of collagen fiber which allows the growth of nerve ending and the growth of the epithelial tissue of the wound from the edge to the center,   which covers granulation tissue and form a scar. According to the theory of traditional Chinese medicine, once one part of the body is injured, it will result in stagnancy of qi and stasis of blood. Therefore, scar is formed.

2.What are the principal ingredients of scar? Why does it grow?
  The principal ingredient of the scar is collagen fiber. In the process of the healing of injured skin, the proliferation of fibroblast and muscle fiber cells form a large amount of collagen  fiber. Heparin is released by scar tissue mast cells, which resolves mucous-polysaccharide sulphate, which combined with alkaline albumen to form connective tissue ground substance . Mast cells release vasoconstriction substance such as histamine which obstruct the blood and cause a deposit, contracture and hardening of fibril. In this way, proliferated scars are formed.
3.Why new method of scar treatment is needed?
   The scar treatment is not only a hot topic in the medical cosmetology in the world but also a challenge area  since there is no ideal therapeutic protocols at present. Many doctors adopt local drug blockade, skin grafting and removal, air sac expansion and the most popular method: crystal rubbing scars and so on. 17.How to prevent ointment from being wiped away by clothes?
  Nonpoisonous plastic wrap can be used to cover the area with ointment to protect the ointment from being wiped away by clothes and also to keep the moisture of the ointment. Avoid using absorptive material (such as cotton towel) to prevent taking the moisture away.
18.What to expect after applying ointment?
  Patients may have some hot/burn feelings in the applied area within about 30 minutes. It is the sign of herbal substance permeate into the skin. 19.How long will it take for the pigment from the herb to disappear?
